OLLAA is a non-partisan, non-profit organisation that has been documenting and reporting human rights violations against the Oromo people since 2019. The Oromia region of Ethiopia has been one of the most restricted areas in the country for human rights and humanitarian access, primarily due to government restrictions and, more recently, due to armed group activities. Despite these challenges, OLLAA has managed to record several atrocities committed by both federal and regional security forces. In 2025, OLLAA aims to document human rights violations against civilians by all warring parties.
