KAHRDO is an organisation based in Baidoa, in the South West State of Somalia. Within their activities to promote human rights, they record casualties for a range of purposes, including to generate evidence-based early warning systems of a potential deterioration in the human rights situation in certain areas; to provide an indication of the severity, scale, or intensity of the armed conflict; for real-time protection of the victims; and to support advocacy.
