Insecurity Insight examines threats facing people living and working in dangerous environments. As part of this, they record the death and injury of aid and health workers, educators, and of civilians within protection settings, such as refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs), and those who experience sexual violence in conflict.
This casualty recording is an integral part of the violence monitoring Insecurity Insight carries out to generate policy recommendations on how to improve the delivery of humanitarian aid and essential services. Their aim is to empower those who deliver vital services and to give voices to those affected by insecurity.
