Founded in 1995, the Chin Human Rights organization (CHRO) is a non-governmental non-profit organization with a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2018. CHRO mainly focuses on documenting human rights violations and conflict-related incidents happening in Chin State, Sagaing Region, and Magway Region in Burma/Myanmar. Their casualty recording work includes rigorous steps to verify and confirm the information collected, include additional evidence and prepare reports in coordination and collaboration with other relevant organisations.
